The Philadelphia Eagles, a well established member of the NFL, have been around since 1933. The team has won three NFL titles since then and made two appearances in the Super Bowl appearances, unfortunately losing both. This seasoned NFL team was named after a symbol used for the New Deal stimulus programs initiated during the Great Depression, know as the Blue Eagle.
