St Louis Rams
The St. Louis Rams are a pro football team located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Rams are currently play in the Western Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The St. Louis Rams have won three NFL Championships and one Super Bowl. The St. Louis Rams actually began playing in Cleveland, OH in 1936. The current franchise is actually a second incarnation of the previously chartered Cleveland Rams, belonging to the defunct second American Football League. While the NFL granted membership to the same franchise owner, the NFL considers it a completely separate entity since only four of the original players (William "Bud" Cooper, Harry "The Horse" Mattos, Stan Pincura, and Mike Sebastian) and none of the team's management/staff joined the newly formed NFL team. In 1946 the Rams became known as the Los Angeles(LA) Rams after the franchise moved to Los Angeles, California, opting to no longer compete with Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns of the All America Football Conference (AFC). Following the 1979 football season, the Rams moved south to nearby Orange County, playing their home games at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim for 15 seasons (1980–94), keeping the Los Angeles name. Then in 1995, before opening season, the franchise moved east to St. Louis where they now reside still today as the St. Louis Rams. Welcome Ram's Fans!
