Germany Brandenburg Flag - 3x5" Polyester
Our Germany Brandenburg flags are made of durable polyester. The seams are double stitched for added durability. These flags are finished with a gleaming white, heavy duty header and 3 brass grommets hanging on a standard flagpole.
In 1945 a new Brandenburg flag was issued, derived from the new coat of arms created after the war. In 1952, when East Germany dissolved all of the states, this flag fell into disuse. Upon the re-adoption of the state of Brandenburg in 1990, the traditional colors of red over white were utilized as state flag once again. The stunning flag of Brandenburg is a horizontal bi-color with red over white, the arms of the state (land), in the center. The official coat of arms of the state shows on a shield in white (silver) a distinctive red eagle, looking to the right, with wings decorated with trefoils in gold and armored gold. The Brandenburg flag was adopted on 20 January 1991, with further enshrinement in Article 4 of the Constitution of the State of Brandenburg.
